Abstract submission process

Submission

Abstracts can be edited until the submission deadline. To edit an abstract, log into the site and go to My Abstracts and click on ‘edit’ next to the corresponding abstract. Make sure to save the changes.

Abstracts cannot be edited after the submission deadline. In case the abstracts needs to be edited after this date, contact info [at] mirrorsmed [dot] org to see if we can assist you. 

Review

Each abstract submitted before the deadline, will be reviewed by 3 members of the organising and/or the scientific committee. Reviewers rate each abstract independently on a scale of 1-5 (double-blind procedure) and optionally submit comments for the author. Once all abstracts have been reviewed, the scores are averaged.

One month after the submission deadline, the submitting author will be notified, at the email address provided during submission, whether their abstract has been accepted or not. The top 3 abstract submitters will receive a separate email.

If you need to withdraw your abstract, a written statement describing the reasons for the withdrawal must be sent to info [at] mirrorsmed [dot] org

Publication

Accepted posters will be published on the website and will be visible for all website visitors.
